Our full service fly shop is located in the heart of northern Ontario's Algoma Country. This region of Ontario is renowned for it's excellent trout and salmon fisheries. So whether you prefer to wade a river for spring run Steelhead, drift an egg pattern for fall salmon, or float tube a small lake or beaver pond for Speckled trout, then this is the place for you. Just to the north of our shop is Ontario's famous Lake Superior Provincial Park. Established in 1944, this 1,550 square kilometer park was created to preserve the area's vast wilderness and stunning natural beauty. The park provides many remote fishing opportunities in pristine waters, as motor vehicle access is limited and most lakes and streams must be accessed by foot or canoe. The park also contains several Lake Superior tributaries that will provide an excellent fishing experience and test your leader, battling spring run Steelhead. Just to the south of us is the famous St. Mary's Rapids. The rapids are "big" water connecting Lake Superior to Lake Huron. Spey casters are in their element at the Soo Rapids. Chinook, Coho, Pink, and Atlantic salmon are all fair game within the banks of the rapids. But lets not forget that Steelhead, Rainbow trout, Speckled trout, Brown trout, and Whitefish inhabit the pools here too.

Misty Mountain Fly Shop is in McCauley's Village Trading Post on Haviland Bay. McCauley's Village Trading Post is located on the corner of Hwy 17 N and Haviland Shores Drive along with McCauley's Motel and Restaurant. Haviland Bay is a small bay located on the south edge of larger Batchawana Bay 40 kilometers north of Sault Ste Marie.
